Why does Lease Sentry, Inc. only accept a Driver's License or State I.D. to track prospective tenants?

To prevent a tenant or prospective-tenant from defeating the system. Using an alias, maiden name, etc., could allow people with a less than favorable rental-behavior history to be entered into the database as a "New" prospective tenant without a rental history to report. A person could be in the database under several different names to prevent a member-landlord from uncovering poor rental behavior.
What if my prospective tenant doesn't have a Driver's License or a State I.D.?
All prospective-tenant's MUST have one or the other to be entered into the Lease Sentry, Inc. database for tracking their rental-behavior history. It is in the best interest of the Member-Landlord to encourage all prospective tenants to obtain one of these two forms of I.D. It certainly can tell you a whole-lot about a grown person without at least one form of I.D. (i.e. They may claim to have employment but how do they cash a paycheck without a picture I.D.?)
There are already other businesses that track personal information on tenants. How is Lease Sentry, Inc. different?
Other agencies are available, true! They are glad to take your money and present you with a Prospective-Tenant's financial background, criminal history, and number of evictions. These agencies DO NOT provide the rental-behavior history of any individual. Lease Sentry, Inc. provides information specifically provided by the tenant's landlords over weeks, months, and years of renting.
Why aren't Member-Landlords supposed to use words like "good" or "bad" when describing the behavior of a tenant?
Placing labels on someone can open you up to legal situations, like slander. If all you state is the facts about a tenant, any other Member-Landlords will be able to view the person's rental-behavior and formulate their own opinion about renting to that person.
Isn't this just another way for "Big Brother" to track Americans?
Lease Sentry, Inc. is not associated with any Local, State, or Federal entity. Nor does it make reports to any governmental agency. The information collected about Prospective-Tenants or Tenants by Member-Landlords is used specifically by other Member-Landlords to track rental-behavior of an individual. The personal information of Landlords and tenants or prospective-tenants is NEVER shared, sold, rented, or leased.
